As passkeys become more pervasive, I expect this to be ironed out, but I found that when attempting to create a passkey for my Paypal account, Paypal will reject passkeys except for chrome, edge, or safari.
This is more of a Paypal issue I am sure, but it’s my understanding that the passkey “handshake” for lack of a better term should be universal, and not browser-specific.
I am getting the same issue. It’s unusual given that they are both chromium under the hood.
It’s not an issue I’ve had on any other sign apart from PayPal. I use NordPass for my passkeys as well so it’s not the case that it only works with Google’s inbuilt manager and not others.
