Password Manager ignores StickyPassword and insists on saving passwords also

In Passwords / Settings, Brave recognizes that StickyPassword is managing passwords but the offer to save passwords pops-up on every site and auto fill continues to operate. How do I stop or delete Password Manager and the auto fill functions. Of course these are shown as disabled but they continue to interfere and, apparently, harvest that information without my knowledge.
