Paid for ads not viewed?

Hello all,

It seems that Brave wants to pay BAT for ads not actually viewed, while using macOS with “Do Not Disturb” turned on.

Is there any way to pay back the BAT, so that one doesn’t get paid for ads not actually viewed?

Welcome to community, and thanks for your honesty!! Would you be willing to share a screenshot of your Ads transactions? Would be curious to look more closely at this.

Here’s a screenshot of my 7-day ads history (none of which I saw until I looked at the history, due to Do Not Disturb being turned on):
