When I’m browsing/watching
Twitch.tv, I’m experiencing page crashes.
Let’s say I’m doing my normal behaviour on
Twitch.tv. I have one tab open of https://dashboard.twitch.tv/u/[my username] in the background, and I have a second tab open of https://www.twitch.tv/[someone’s username]
If I watch for long enough, let’s say an hour or so,
both tabs will crash. Only Twitch tabs crash, though, not tabs of other websites I have open.
“x_x Aw, Snap! Something went wrong while displaying this webpage.”
This is recent behaviour that started this week. I’ve never experienced this before then
I’ve tried clearing my cookies and site data for Twitch but it didn’t help. Any other tips?
Version 1.47.171 Chromium: 109.0.5414.87 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and I’m sorry to hear you are going through this. Can you please go to brave://crashes and
if you have automatic crash reporting is enabled (
Settings --> Privacy/Security --> Automatically send diagnostic reports), please respond back here with the crash report ID
Automatically send diagnostic reports is not enabled, ensure you click
Send on these crash reports listed on the page, then reply here with the crash report ID.
There’s 5 crashes on Jan 9, 15 crashes on Jan 10, 3 crashes on Jan 11, and 4 crashes today on Jan 12.
Then there’s a long stretch where I had no crashes, from Dec 12 to Jan 9
And thanks for your reply. I’ll share this information with my support team, so they can be aware about this!
Have a great day.
