Options to configure tab action on click types

I’ve seen a bunch of feature requests for different ways to manage tabs via clicking. Some want particular shortcuts with mouse actions to close tabs, others want to do things like double click to close tabs, etc etc.

All users have different wants when it comes how they handle their mouse with tabs and the actions to take.

What I suggest is roll these all up into configurable mouse actions for tabs.

What I mean is, imagine we have the ability to configure, double click, single click, triple click, long single click press, middle mouse click, and right click combinations to these, etc, etc, and map them to actions for tab management like reload tabs, hard reload, close tab, duplicate tab, freeze tab, etc etc.

This would allow users to then manage there own customizable behaviors to their likings. To see an example of this, you can see the sidebery extension in Firefox.

This way the decision on what particular mouse action mapping to a particular action for the browser experience is removed from the discussion as it becomes configurable and customizable.
