Whenever audio plays in a tab, the speaker icon ( 
) appears in the tab title line, right next to the tab’s website icon. I’d like the option to disable this, for two reasons:

Pinned tab icons vanish when this icon appears. The speaker icon replaces the pinned tab’s website icon, and so it is sometimes difficult to tell which pinned tab has what website on it.

It is very distracting! Every single time that it appears, my eyes are instinctively drawn to the top of the screen, perhaps because my brain has been trained to interpret flashing icons and moving text as important notifications. But it is not important; this notification tells me something I already know: that audio is playing.
