Option for SCREENSHOT and SCROLL for capturing screenshots of full web page

Bring a option for ‘screenshot’ and ‘scroll’ so that users can take a shot for full web pages. These are some important tools a browser must provide to its users because they install separate apps for these tools.

Firefox has an excellent in-built screenshot app, hope the Brave will have one too

Agreed. I’m using different browsers and the Screenshot Feature in Firefox is outstanding. Until this functionality is implemented right away in Brave, the FireShot Extension just does this exact job. I imported my data from Chromium after Brave installation and had it right away ^^

Try this.

This is the Android Requests section; there are no extensions on Brave mobile.

That said, this is a killer feature that made me switch to Vivaldi and Firefox! Would love if Brave added a “Capture full page” button in.

Three years later and NOBODY has rectified this glaring omission of a feature. The current Screenshot assumes that the page has no scrolling content or that elements do not extent beyond the viewable area.

How incorrect, naive and, judging by this thread, ignorant.

This almost useless (my OS screenshot feature can do a simple screenshot of visible content) feature is, in it’s current state, completely pointless. It adds NO functionality above the in-built OS functionality. It’s just terribly mediocre and both a software quality and a community responsibility red flag, IMHO.

However, Mozilla FireFox’s screenshot functionality is more useful than my OSs feature by orders of magnitude.

As mentioned by any sane user, FireFox’s methodology is FAR superior that the non-feature we have right now.

It’s so disconcerting when a request for a feature which would add so much more usefulness to a browser is so swiftly overlooked for no discernible reason?

Can ANYONE give a decent explanation as to WHY Brave doesn’t want to compete with browsers which have BETTER functionality?? O_o

I still keep moving back to FireFox precisely for this reason, just to take a proper snapshot of a page or element that I am on. This is especially useful when demonstrating the certain web site bugs. Now this functionality is missing from my online experience, I find it unnecessarily jarring and a damned inconvenience.

The mind just boggles with confusion at this ‘decision’.

Also, the ‘Android’ tag needs dropping ASAP. It’s quite obvious to us that this applies to Brave in general and doesn’t seek to make platforms inconsistent.
