Opening the browser generates a white screen and it is stuck and task manager says 99% memory usage-Windows 10


Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

1.When I try to open the browser it doesn’t open but creates a white space that looks like a new window.
2.Task manager shows 99% memory usage (almost to 3 Gbs)
3. Tried updating the browser using a new installer

Expected result:

**Brave Version( check About Brave):**1.3.99.0

Additional Information:

@ar1769 the latest Brave for Windows 10 should be Version 1.9.76 Chromium: 81.0.4044.138 (Official Build)

Is it necessary to remove the current version of the brave before I install the newest version?
Are the bat rewards carried over to the new version?

Did you save your “Recovery Key”? And “Backup” recently?
I do not know about the install issues. You should ask support about re-installing/update.

Click Menu > About Brave should trigger the update process.
