Opening link in text message from FedEx about package shipment

When I click on a link in a FedEx text alert about a package being sent to me, I am taken to a “Page not found” page. If I change my default browser to Chrome it works fine. The message is in the messages app on my mac. It also works fine on my iPhone.

Here’s one of the messages:
FedEx: fedex.com/t/944949344040/en_US Hi, your package is now out for delivery today 04/14. Reply HELP for help. STOP to cancel.

The Link is http://fedex.com/t/944949344040/en_US

Of course, the link is supposed to take you to your package information.

On macOS, are you clicking the link from within an email?

No the messages application on my mac

It also didn’t work when I click on the link in my posting above.

Got it – thank you for confirming.
Does it make any difference if you

  1. Try copy/pasting the link instead of clicking on it?
  2. Copy the link, open a new Private window in Brave, and paste it there?

Copy/Paste is not working in Brave, but does work in Chrome. Are you able to get it to fail in Brave and work in Chrome?

I think it’s possible referrer issue, But I saw the same issue in Chrome.
