Hi,
I’ll try to be brief and concise:
- Referring to the first screenshot:
- I try to open a file on my computer (in this example it is lecture 2)
- As can be seen, the default app for pdf files is in fact the brave browser.
- Referring to the second screenshot:
- The brave browser takes the location of lecture 2, and distributes the location over multiple tabs, instead of opening the file in a single app.
- Like this:
** Please help me fix this problem as it adds a lot of additional time to do something that was working just fine a day ago
could you disable all extension and try again

I have the same issue … and have disabled all extensions but the problem still exits… but if I opened the file in private mode browser it works fine
@mdq22 then could be something related to cache could you clear your cache and try again in both mode private and normal mode

I uninstalled and reinstalled Brave. That fixed the problem. Apologies, I didn’t wait for a reply, but I hope this solution helps others.
