Open URL by dragging link to New Tab button or empty page

#1

On Firefox and Chrome, when dragging a URL (from a webpage or an external app) to the tab-bar, a new tab is opened with the URL. Additionally, when dragging it to any position on the page (webpages pages like chrome://, about: and empty pages) it will navigate to that URL in the current tab.

On Brave, this only works on “loaded” pages (as in, any tab that navigated to any URL, including about:blank and about:error). It doesn’t work when dragging to the tab-bar or when dragging to the default New Tab (statistics tab).

Request: add the possibility to open any URL by dragging it to any tab, or open in a new tab when dragging to the tab-bar
