Description of the issue:
Hello Community. I am new here.
I’ve been using Brave for a few days now and keep getting stuck when viewing PDF files.
In the settings and also in the community I have not found a hint on how to instruct Brave to open the pdf in a PDF reader separately and not to display it as a new tab.
So far the only way seems to be a download from the new tab.
But, when opening it from the Brave download list, a new tab opens again in Brave.
Only after opening the download folder in the exlporer, I can open the PDF in the PDF reader.
How can this issue be reproduced?

Expected result:
In the Firefox settings I can assign my default application to open certain files depending on their file extension.
How is this possible in Brave ?
