"Open image in new tab" downloading it instead of opening in new tab

Description of the issue: When opening image in new tab it download it instead opening in new tab
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open menu with right mouse click on image
  2. click “Open image in new tab”

Expected result: should open in new tab instead of downloading

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.64.109 Chromium: 123.0.6312.58 (Official Build) (64-bit)

If you open the Brave logo on this page in a new tab, does it work as expected? The behaviour is actually specified in the web server, so having some images download rather than be displayed may be correct.

Yeah, it work on Edge but don’t on Brave with same website.
But actually I had time to look closely into it and ended with completly removing Brave and reinstall it without importing any settings from Edge then configure it and install extensions I use manually, and now it works as it should. So can close this topic as solved :slight_smile:
