Only had this on my ipad pro for a few days and today ads appeared on facebook. Any suggestions?

Facebook ads have reappeared after 5 days!!!
Turned on ‘block shield’ FB wouldn’t load.
I have a VPN and Brave. I have turned on, 'block ads and tracking, ‘HTTPS everywhere and’block phishing’.
What can I do to stop FB ads???
