On iOS how do I ‘reset’ brave?

How do I reset all of the different security shields in brave on iOS to their defaults?

Hi @Pitosalas,

Go into Settings -> Brave Shield Defaults. You’ll be able to reset everything there.

Thanks. My question is that I don’t know what the defaults are. I’ve played with them and now I want to return to ‘factory settings’…

Thanks for the follow up. I believe the only way to do that is to delete the app and reinstall it.

Do you mean site specific shield settings or global shield settings?

For global shields defaults are:

  • ads & tracking: ON
  • HTTPSE: ON
  • phishing and malware: ON
  • block scripts: OFF
  • fingerprint protection: OFF
