Could Windows users who have installed more than one Brave version, but not necessarily retained older versions… please check in your C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\brave\Application Cache\Cache directory.
Do you have a large number of old (modified date) files in there?
I have 132 files. Only data_1 has today’s date on it.
Update: Looks like more very old files.
Check also C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\brave\Partitions\partition-1\Cache
