OAuth window closes immediately, making login impossible

Description of the issue:
When trying to log in on some websites that rely on OAuth, the login window closes immediately, making it impossible to log in.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. go to https://svelte.dev/REPL
  2. click the “log in to save” button
  3. see the window popup and close itself before you can log in.

Expected result:
being able to log in

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.17.73 Chromium: 87.0.4280.67 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:

workaround:
be a ninja and copy the URL of the closing window before it closes. Paste that in a new window, and use that to log in.

Hi @zimmah,
Can you try creating a new test profile and seeing if the issue persists?
Click on the menu icon in the top right corner > create a new profile.
