Brave is slowly pissing me off - once again the translation function in the address bar is no longer there and has also disappeared again in the settings!
Unfortunately, my workaround (see below) didn’t last. Somehow the appearance/disappearance must have something to do with the synchronization of desktop client and mobile client. I don’t know which setting it could be, they are the same on both devices as far as they are visible and available. In any case, the translation always works on the desktop, but it has disappeared again on mobile.
Description of the issue:
On iOS browser (auto) translate button in address bar is gone after last 2 or 3 updates
How can this issue be reproduced?
- My language is German. Open an english website.
- Before updates there was a button/option left of the address bar to translate website
- It is not there anymore
Expected result:
a button/option left of the address bar to translate website again
SOLUTION: I found out the problem. I push the Community-link on startpage of browser. While it is in English and I am German speaker it (Brave) recommended me to translate from English to German, and now the Translate-option is in address bar and also in settings menu again.
