No announcement rewards, 3.0 changes are for Q1 2025

@makalubcn the other changes are Q1, such as us no longer having an Estimated Earnings section. However, us not getting paid for house ads has already been in effect.
We only get paid for ads that Brave is being paid for. Ads promoting Brave services, such as Brave Talk, Brave VPN, or Brave Wallet, are considered “house ads.” These are meant to make users aware of Brave’s offerings, but we don’t earn BAT for viewing them.

Are Solana’s announcements or those that fall between news items also internal? Because they don’t give me anything, what a rip-off of a month. With 200 ads displayed I get between 0.94-1.44 BATS at this point should take 6 at least. I do not think it is right that there is no solution or an explanation in conditions

Not sure which you’re referring to. The best way to check is to look at the resource that imroop22 did a screenshot of. Go to https://sampson.codes/brave/ads/my_region/ and you’ll see a list of the ad campaigns in your region. It shows what OS they target, the maximum amount of times you can see ads from the campaign, how much they pay, etc.
So like on the one they showed was of Brave Leo. It shows it 20/–/–/20. This is Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Total. So in that it can appear up to 20 times in a day, a total of 20 times total. After you view 20 times, you can’t see ads from that campaign again.
And of course the value was 0 BAT on theirs, meaning we’d earn nothing from seeing it.
Whereas one like below we would earn:
The screenshot above shows we can see ads from that campaign up to 6 times in a day, for a total of 60 at a maximum. It pays 0.025 BAT each time we see it. The Host is atlanta-accidentlawyers.com, meaning that’s the company/business that paid Brave for the ad.
Btw, you’ll notice Brave Leo one imroop22 shared had SI on the top right of the little boxes, that means Sponsored Image which appears on the New Tab Page. The one in my screenshot shows an IC, which means Inline Content, which appears in places like Brave News. If it said PN then that would be Push Notification, which appears as our notification ads.

A lot of ads are paying about 0.005 lately. So 0.005 multiplied by 200 would be 1 BAT. That’s very close to what you said there. Higher would be for any ads like my screenshot was of before which may pay more. But at least seems to match up overall.
Just to show what I mean about how many/most seem to pay about 0.005…at least here in USA. Not sure if any countries have lower paying ads.

What are you talking about? Indian users have been earning Rewards for over a year. You have ZebPay you can connect to in order to earn. Then there’s also on chain payments if you join the waitlist and get invite.

@leocinat and @manike5 I bet that isn’t true. Go to brave://rewards and share a screenshot of what it says in regards to ads seen and your estimated earnings. You would be right that if you’re only seeing ads for Brave services you get nothing, but those wouldn’t be the only ads you see.

@Julii.Alvarez did you not read the link I provided in the reply before yours? It’s because you likely are seeing a house ad, which doesn’t pay anymore. We only get paid for ads Brave is paid to show. If it is Brave showing us an ad for a Brave product, we get nothing.

Which places or pages I can find to watch ads in order to earn more BAT’s?
The ability to obtain BAT’s in the future will be minimal if at all. Its kind of like the halving of a token. As you will find that every so often Brave makes changes to make it harder and harder to obtain/pay out. Deflationary measures.
That isn’t the case. What they hinted at and showed in the Community Call is that they are going to be adding an offer wall. We’re supposed to be getting a lot more control over things and will have “quests” and all for bonuses in addition to normal ads.
You have to admit that over time the amount of BATS since inception has reduced drastically. To this point i will be lucky to get a total of 1 for December (on 2 devices) at the rate its going. I’m sure the future will see some positive things but the reduction I have seen all along and currently is similar to a halving of a coin. Every few months less and less. We shall see. fingers crossed.
Not really. It’s been one heck of a roller coaster of emotions. And overall depends on what we’re weighing it all against. But what we get per ad hasn’t changed one bit in terms of how much BAT. You are right though that the dollar value has changed, but that’s just based on what BAT is selling for. BAT kind of serves like stocks. If BAT increases, we profit more. If it decreases, we “lose.”
The price per ad has pretty much stayed the same. Like looking back to posts like Per Ad BAT reduce to 0.005! Is anyone getting more than 0.005 ads or Can you tell me why brave ads give just 0.002 bat/ads or 0.005 bat/ads? in 2021 had people talking about how ads were paying just 0.005 BAT per ad.
Or even person complaining at Brave Ads Value 0.5 then reduced to 0.25 and now value is 0.15 and even 0.05 why its getting reduced. If this continues then people will not use this browser in 2020.
Now looking at current ads in my area, you can see a pretty wide range:
Think that’s just you on your region. I forget where you’re at. But if not a lot of campaigns and you primarily relied on house ads, then might hurt a bit more. Looking at estimated earnings as of 2:26 AM on December 4 (so may as well say been like 3 days), I’ve seen 98 ads and have estimated earnings of 0.312-0.820
Random History of earnings:
I’m going to do random time periods and not every single month. Primarily because there’s a limit to how many screenshots I can share, but also because some of these months had some weird things going on. What is going to be here though is enough to paint a fairly accurate picture of what things have been like as I’ve been using Brave.
There definitely was a period there where payments are juicy, especially in 2022. The outliers make it feel like things now are substantially worse. If you joined in the “golden era” when we had those huge payouts, it certainly is understandable if you think it’s horrible now.
Oh, and little note, the months where there were 2+ payouts is because that was a time when they paid each device separately. They since merged that to increase efficiency of payouts. Back then I had an Android and PC, so had two devices going to help get those ads building up for me. I switched up and went to iOS, so only have been able to earn from my PC. So my earning capabilities definitely decreased, so some impact on that is visible. But despite that, the numbers stay pretty solid if you just look at BAT earned.
