Description of the issue:
Browser opens to its own start page, even though I’ve changed the settings to open on a particular page. I’ve tried resetting the start page a couple of times. It seems to sometimes work once (close the browser, reopens to my start page). However, the next time I close and reopen the browser it’s back to the basic/regular start page that I don’t want to see.
I’ve saved the page as a bookmark, so I can get to it. But isn’t the point of giving us the option to set our own start page that we can then have the browser open to the page we choose?

I have literally changed nothing but that setting. I’ve only been using Brave for a week and I use all the standard settings.

Opens up to not the page I requested – which is a real URL and does work
Expected result:
To see the home page I requested the browser open
Reproduces how often:
Every time I open Brave, a few times a day (and it’s not feasible to open it once and leave it open to the page all day.)
