Not able to highlight links when using a bang

When using a bang (ex: “!yt”), and go to the address bar to get the link, it does not show/highlight the link. It treats it like an empty, new tab.
Typing out the website, searching for it and clicking the link, and using a bookmarks all work and it highlights the link, but when using a bang, it doesn’t even show the link.
This happened to me on the iOS mobile app.

Hi, I’ve included screenshots and an explanation of what happens. It happened on iOS 16.2 on brave version 1.46.2

I first type in any bang I want to (here I used !yt)

Then I tap the address bar (and sorry about what is being shown on the home page)

And when I do, it doesn’t highlight the site name, it just has an empty address bar.

It isn’t the biggest deal, although it never happened before.
