No popup ads on deskop

Due to the fact that I’m not using a VPN I have the same problem. I don’t receive ads anymore for some time now. The sponsored wallpapers on NewTab are the only ones which increase my Ad counter for about a month now.

Normally I have earned around 5 to 6 BATs at the end of the month for the last time… now it are only 1.4 at the moment and this only because of the sponsored wallpapers.

Windows Version: 21H1 (Build 19043.1320)
Region: Germany
Brave Version: 1.31.87 Chromium: 95.0.4638.54 (Official Build) (64-Bit)

In my brave://rewards-internals I also found this:

I already deleted the ads_service folder to rebuild the ads catalog and restarted Brave but this also didn’t help to fix this problem. I’m still receiving any single Ad since then.

Since yesterday the problem with ads seems to be solved. I don’t know what happened but ads start appearing again.

Unfortunately not for me. Are there any news? The ads still don’t work at my browser… so many BATs lost. That’s a pity.

Same here. I have not received a single ad since August: No payout, no ads, next payment in October?

Very strange… yesterday the ads suddenly worked without problems and today I have the same problems as the last weeks. That’s strange.

Hi,
I am not receiving any ads for a week or so on my Mac. The rewards counter stays the same even though i regularly see desktop images such as ByBit and similar which usually increment rewards. I am not using VPN.

Hi, I have just updated Brave browser and rewards are working again.

Unfortunately this has not worked for me. I also have tested to deactivate ads, restart the browser, activate it again but nothing helped to receive ads again.

Nothing helps. I haven’t had an ad since August.
Brave support is aware but seems unable to fix it.
This is what it looks like:

30 day ad history is empty of course.
Brave support is aware that ads are not working but are unable or unwilling to fix it.

have they worked before ? what is the number of ads you have set in settings? and did you check system settings/notification center to ensure Brave is enable to deliver notifications

Oh yes of course. Otherwise I wouldn’t have earned the BATs that I have so far.
Ads stopped working in August. Initially it seemed this was due to my wallet got flagged for no reason. But even after support lifted the flag weeks ago, there are no more ads showing.
Of course my Brave is set to receive ads (10 per hour) and notifications are working: https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058972091-Push-Notification-Test
