No longer receiving ad notifications & sponsored wallpaper do not increment BAT total

Briefly describe your issue:
About 2 weeks ago I stopped seeing popup ad notifications completely, and when I see a sponsored wallpaper my total in the rewards summary no longer increments.

My total rewards for January (claimed on 08/02) have not made it to my wallet either.

Apart from this, the Brave experience has been awesome, so hoping to get it fixed and carry on as a happy user :slight_smile:

What Operating System and Brave version are you using (Menu --> About Brave)?
Mac OSX Mojave 10.4.6/Version 1.35.101 Chromium: 98.0.4758.87 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Is your browser wallet currently verified? (yes/no)

What date did you verify your wallet?

Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past?

Are you using a VPN? (yes/no)

Are you in a supported region (see here for list of supported regions)?

Does your device pass the SafteyNet check (Android only)?

Same problem. I see ads but do not increment bat total

Any luck mprinciple? Still waiting for a response but no joy yet

Having the same issue – no ad notifications or BAT earned in over 5 days now. Including home page ads. @Mattches @steeven

@SashaZimm Hi and welcome to the community. Your account may have been flagged. Only support staff can check and remove an account flag. If you are flagged, you will not receive ads and/or earnings and any payments pending will be put on hold.

You should send a direct message to the moderators and include the following information for your device:

  • Copy/paste your Wallet ID (found on brave://rewards-internals )
  • Your OS and Brave version (first three lines in brave://version )
  • A screenshot of your Rewards panel in `Settings → Brave Rewards

Mattches and Steeven are the moderators who handle most of the rewards issues.

How to DM a moderator:

  1. Click on their icon and select the Message button in the top right corner or
  2. You can go to your profile and create a new message in Messages.

I have done as you suggested 2 weeks ago and am still waiting for an acknowledgement or reply…

If you haven’t already, you might want to tag them in your DM. If you’ve already done that, I wouldn’t do it again. That would just be spamming the system and I’m sure they have enough to deal with already. Unfortunately, you are just going to have to wait until they get to you.

From other posts, it appears they do pay out eventually unless your account has been suspended for fraudulent activity. Turnaround time is a shame but it is what it is.

I have done as you suggested - I have gone back and tagged them in the DM.

Agree, I am sure they are very busy so just a case of being patient.

Can’t really complain about a free to use, open source project that pays out crypto!

Love the browser and user experience, so will sit tight and hopefully get back to a fully working setup eventually.

Commenting here for the benefit of others. Support is there, but slow.

Just a case of being patient…

Would be curious to know if the support folks are employees, or work on an “open source” basis? I know a few people who would be willing to help?
