Description of the issue:
When trying to type in circumflex accents, using a foreign keyboard, this doesn’t work. The circumflex shows in other applications (Chrome, Word, etc.) but not Brave.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- Switch to French keyboard
- hit the [ key
- hit e.
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
You only see e.
Expected result:
You should see ê.
Same applies to i, o, a and u.
The e circumflex does show correctly (as proven above) when pasted from another app (here, notepad).

Every time.
