NO BAT with Ads

My account is verified with latest version of Brave. Multiple devices. No matter how many ads I view or click on I never get BAT.

This seems like a common problem.

Contacted support and they disregarded my concern

What day did you connect your Rewards profile to Uphold?

Could you provide your ticket number? Thanks

The same day I create my Brave Rewards account. Early this week.

I reinstalled the app yesterday and relinked Uphold on my phone. PC unchanged and having the same issue and recently updated Brave version.

I sent the Uphold information in my support request.

If you created your Rewards account in June, there is no eligible payment yet.

Your Rewards profile must be fully connected to a custodian or self-custody wallet before being eligible to earn. Any ads viewed in June will be paid out in July.

There is no BAT estimator.

@Jupiterwalks you never get paid for clicking ads. So mentioning that since you talked about clicking.

We get paid once per month. So any ads you would see now would be paid in July.

Payouts begin around the 7th of each month, but it can take days or longer to complete. It’s not a “promised by the 7th” type of thing.

You do not see any estimated earnings or value increase as ads are viewed. The most you see is the indicator for how many ads you have viewed. That’s it.

All of that to say you just have to be patient.

Also, doing all the things like you mentioned of reinstalling the app is not good. This resets your profile and gets rid of all your ads viewed status.

Just to reiterate, to earn and get paid:

  1. You must first enable Rewards

  2. You then need to connect your Rewards account to something like Uphold, ZebPay, etc or have the invitation to Solana where you connect directly to a Wallet, assuming you are in a supported country.

  3. You then allow ads to display, such as ad notifications. These appear to you from the first until the last day of the month.

  4. It then totals up your rewards for the ads you saw in that month and pays you around the 7th of the following. So the payouts happening here right now around June 7 are for the ads people viewed from May 1 until May 31.

  5. While the payout date is around the 7th of each month, it can happen sooner or later. Generally it’s good to assume it can take about a week. But you can watch the payout status via Ads Payout Status Update

You will have no idea how much you’re supposed to get paid. All you know is you’re seeing ads and then some sort of BAT will show up.

Thank you for sharing. I have seen this before

What part did you not understand based on what I said before? Your balance is only going to go up when you receive the payment. You only receive a payment once per month. You would not have received anything because you just connected. You’ll get paid next month, assuming that you still have it connected to Uphold, have been viewing Rewards ads, and don’t get yourself flagged/suspended

I do not know your intent, but this reads like threat.

I am just trying to clarify that the in app balance only goes up monthly.

When I see deposit it implies external payment

@Jupiterwalks not sure the confusion? You say “implies external payment.” That’s exactly what it’s saying. You view ads in the browser, then payment gets sent externally to your Uphold account.

The balance of 0.00 you’re seeing is how much BAT you have in Uphold. When Brave sends the payment, you’ll have it increase. If you withdraw from it, then it will decrease. Again, the balance is what’s in your Uphold account…so an external service that’s not part of Brave.

Let’s revisit the steps I mentioned:

  1. Enable Rewards so you can view ads.

  2. Connect to Uphold, ZebPay, or whichever service is set for your country. Without this connection earnings are not possible. And obviously to link to them, this means you must create an account on their website and go through all verification. Or if you ever do have Solana as an option, that goes straight to your linked crypto wallet. Regardless, that’s all “external” overall.

  3. You then allow for the ad notifications and ad views accumulate. You are told how many ads you have seen but not how much you are earning.

  4. After the month is over, it starts to process on the back end servers. Payments are then sent around the 7th of each month, though it can take time to go from Brave to landing in your account.

My intent was to answer you. Keep in mind I am a fellow user, though someone who is active in helping others. I have been active for years on assisting and you are the first person to ever act as if they were struggling so hard to understand any of this.

It honestly makes me think you are trolling and trying to waste time, as people who don’t even speak English have understood all of this before. And even my neighbor’s 7 year son comprehended. So you are seeing some frustration out of me as I’m answering and I’m debating how much time and effort I’m going to give. Most likely this is my last reply to you.

There’s no threat. It was me saying based on some of the things you have mentioned here you are likely to get your account flagged for unusual activity. I mean with all the resetting, reinstalling, linking multiple devices, etc it is enough to trigger the system to think something isn’t right because that’s not what the average person does.

So it was me saying that if you don’t get yourself flagged with everything you’re doing and are indeed connected now, you’ll receive your first payment here in July.
