No ads appearing and no sync option anywhere

I recently started using brave but have 2 issues:

  1. There is no Sync functionality on the desktop app/browser (believe me I’ve looked everywhere)
  2. Despite opting into ads (5 per hour), and despite the fact they are available for my country - I have never been shown a single Ad.

Some help with both issues would be great. Presumably a lot of new users would have this same issue.

Sync has been temporarily disabled due to some issue.

As to ads not appearing, maybe you’re in a region that is not supported by Brave or in a region with few Brave Advertisers.

You could enable Brave Sync by enabling the feature at brave://flags (at your own risk of Brave dying painfully, of course).
