Nice concept. Lots of features. Terrible execution

Here’s my experience running Brave on latest Ubuntu LTS on KDE Desktop:

Just address these three minor issues and you’ll be golden.

  1. The most frequent page visited is “Aw Snap”.

  2. After a while it consumes enough resources to temporarily hose the machine. It’s a HUGE memory hog.

  3. There’s no clear, concise documentation on how to collect CASH in exchange for viewing ads - which is the only reason I considered this product. All I’m seeing is that I earn virtual tokens that can be used for ambiguously defined “premium services”.

Other than that, hey - it’s great!
