Description of the issue:
When using the “New” version of Yahoo (web) email, I’m unable to execute options within my email.
For example, after checking the Spam folder, If I select Block Senders from the (hamburger) menu, nothing happens.
Likewise, within settings if I select a Disposeable email address and click Delete nothing happens.
If I switch back to the “basic” (really REALLY ugly) email - which I have to do from another browser, those options work.
What setting would I have to adjust to allow what I assume are scripts to run so I can use the newest version.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- Log into (NEW) Yahoo Mail (https://mail.yahoo.com/)
- Select Spam folder
- Select Spam email(s)
- Select Block Senders from the 3 dot menu (which should also delete the selected emails after confirmation)
- Nothing happens
- Select Settings -> More Settings
- Select Mailboxes
- Select a Disposeable email address
- Click the [Delete address] button
- Nothing happens
- Click on “Switch to basic Mail”
- Nothing happens.
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
See “Nothing happens” items above.
Expected result:
#5 - Spam email addresses are added to a Blocked list and emails are deleted
#10 - Disposable email address is deleted
#11 - Email reverts to older version of Yahoo Mail web setup
Reproduces how often:
Always
