New computer Sync won't work

Hi,

I’m sitting on a new windows computer and setting up brave, usually when I enter the sync code I get everything immidiatly. But for this new computer I only get bookmarks, no addons or history.

Looking at brave://sync-internals it looks like this:


I can clearly see thats something is wrong in “Download Step Result” compared to one of my devices where the sync works. Adding an extension on a device #1 where the sync works will aslo add the same extension to another device #2 that works. So it seems like my sync is working just not with this new device.

I’ve tried uninstalling Brave and rejoining the sync chain and tried it on another new computer with the same result.

Ok I just created a new sync and it started to work again. What I did before that I usually don’t to before adding this new computer to my old sync list is removing all the duplicated that I had in the device list. Only keeping the lastest sync date for each device.
