Network Captive Portal Logins

Every day people visit places like Starbucks, Cafe Nero, The Boston Public Library etc. They all have one thing in common along with thousands of other businesses worldwide. They require you authenticate through a network captive portal to access the Internet.

As of now when go and find this ,I have to open Firefox first go through the login and then switch back to Brave…

I presently run Fedora Linux. If you can tell me how to login to a portal without using Firefox, I would welcome the input.

I have no doubt that people reading this have traveled and know what I am talking about.

The below link is a description of the Firefox service.

I hope you will seriously consider development of this feature as I am sure it would be most helpful to many of your users.

Best Regards,

Just switched to Brave and came here after noticing the same issue. I regularly need to login via a captive portal on an HTTP page. On Firefox, this used to detect the portal and give me an option to redirect and accept the risk of a non-secure page. Is there something similar within Brave? Is there a setting that I need to change?
