Need to restart the iPhone to connect vpn

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open brave in UAE
  2. Click on brave vpn
  3. System tries to connect but nothing happen, and mobile has no internet connectivity.
  4. Restart the device
  5. The system shows vpn is connected

Expected result:
The system should connect vpn without the need to restart

I do apologize for this inconvenience. We cannot guarantee connections in the UAE as our services are likely blocked in this region. Are you able to connect over a cellular connection without rebooting your device? Likewise, are you able to connect over WiFi without rebooting your device? Please let me know what host you are connecting to when you are able to connect.
