Need to open a new tab on launch

i want brave android to open a new tab when i launch it but don’t know how. i browsed the settings a lot but couldn’t find any thing for it.

Try this:
Settings → Brave shields & privacy → Close tabs on exit.

I’m not sure this works on simple closing of the app or you had to use “exit” from the menu.
