Hello Brave Support Team,
I would like to ask for assistance on refunding my accidental purchase on the VPN yearly subscription.
I forgot to unsubscribe on time after the trial period and was surprised when 6500 inr was suddenly deducted from my bank account. That money was supposed to be used to pay off my uni semester fees.
I did not use the product much, only for testing its effectivity. It was effective but I don’t need the service right now since I am struggling financially. If I had the funds, I would use the service. But circumstances won’t allow me at the moment.
I would greatly appreciate help from the Brave Support Team for processing the refund. I badly need the funds to pay for my fees.
I have already sent a ticket with the number: 318440

They should be looking into it and replying when able, though will be through the email you provided in your ticket.

@Albertj05 yes, especially since it’s the weekend. They usually only work the weekdays. They typically have weekends and American holidays off.
That said, it is normal for it to take 3-5 business days for them to see a ticket and try to respond.
Hey man, sorry to disturb you again, but is there any hope I could get the money? Since I did this through Google Play (they denied my request), I don’t think my email is registered with Brave.

@Albertj05 they look at each request on a case by case basis. There have been people in situations like yours where Brave went beyond what is required and refunded the money anyway just to be considerate. As you can imagine, they can’t do that for everyone though or they’d be out a lot of money from people abusing it.
Since I don’t work for Brave and am only another user like yourself, I couldn’t begin to answer about your situation specifically or to know what they look at in making a decision. But I do know they will always try to make the fairest decision as they can.
