Is this a way of earning money by browsing through brave browser or contributing (donate) money with others?
I mean, if I active this feature & browse through brave browser, will I get paid for browsing?
Or, if I browse, the site owner will get money from me?

This is Brave Ads feature. If you opt-in to see Brave Ads, Brave will show you a “notification based” ads. Still being tested on desktop (with Beta and Dev release). And not available for mobile yet.
