Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?
- reverting back to default settings
- no “Brave Ads” - no wallet Attached .
- starting with 2 tabs open constantly
Expected result:

Version 1.69.160 Chromium: 128.0.6613.114 (Official Build) (64-bit)
OK , sorry if this isn’t correct place or setting for help . I don’t do help topic , or post that often .
So as it says , every time I open brave i have notice the settings have reverted back to default , but not all of them . Appearance setting is un-changed . some that have changed , Social media blocking is on Allowing embedded post . Sync devices returning after being removed from sync chain . some settings in System & Languages tab have changed . I am not seeing any “Brave Ads” popping up and my UpHold wallet is no longer attached and for a Looong time ,Brave has been starting with “Brave search” tab & a “Home page” tab open ,which i have been putting up with .
I am using Manjaro plasma with all updates and have tried to install other "Brave browser " Apps without success . also have “Brave” on android .
