Need brave to open wps office progam

Description of the issue:
When I open my FITBIT.com and select: SETTINGS then DATA EXPORT and select DOWNLOAD, Brave opens a window and wants to SAVE the data. In FIREFOX a window opens "Opening_fitbit _Report_20200111.csv and under WHAT SHOULD FIREFOX DO WITH THIS FILE? I select "OPEN WITH WPS WRITER (default) and click OK. This is what I need to have happen in BRAVE. I have managed to have BRAVE open up PDF Files correctly but not able to get brave to ask how I want this .csv file to be handled.

I saw there’s an issue logged for this.

Will not see this implemented in the near future as it’s labeled priority/p5. 🤷

Since this issue has been going on for years and there appears to be little interest in resolving the issue, I guess I’ll return to FIREFOX. Going thru these extra steps is a pain so I usually end up opening FIREFOX to complete the action so I’m switching back.
