hello.
i’m unable to watch games on nba.com. the error code displays: Group: Invalid DRM error with DRM_NO_KEY_SYSTEM Code: 2006. Version 1.65.126 Chromium: 124.0.6367.118 64-bit. Any suggestions?
@r04st DRM = Digital Rights Management. This would be something like Widevine.
What you didn’t share is OS. I’m going to assume you’re on Desktop version of Brave, at which point you need to go to Settings
→ Extensions
→ enable Widevine.
If you already had it on, you might need to disable, enable again, exit Brave, and return. That may resolve. Otherwise might need to go to brave://components
and update there.
If, for some strange reason, none of that works. Then try in a private window or in a new browser profile and see if it does any better
none of these solutions worked however i managed to fix my problem by running brave as an administrator.
Depending on what you saw in brave://components
, it might have been related. Some have explained that their OS was blocking component updates and they had to run as administrator to get it.
