I’m confused as to what you’re talking about? Are you talking about the counter showing the amount of ads seen or are you referring to BAT? If you’re saying you had 230 BAT, that would have been in your ZebPay account and you have to check there what’s done. Brave doesn’t keep BAT in the browser. They got rid of vBAT a long time ago, so you had nothing sitting there.
And also have to say 230 BAT is a lot. Not sure how long you would have been saving up, but that sure as heck isn’t anything you’d be getting in a single month. And if you did have it sitting in your ZebPay, then you know ZebPay charges you a monthly fee if you aren’t doing transactions. This could quickly deplete your account, which is why it’s suggested you withdraw right away.
If you are referring to the ads seen this month count, then you should realize that it counts for this month
. January is not December, so you wouldn’t expect it to count on top of December’s numbers, would you? So when it changes from December to January, it goes to 0 because you have not yet seen an ad in January. And as you view ads, it increases.
As you can see in the giant banner on this website, payouts haven’t even started yet. We view ads from the very first day of each month until the very end of the month, then the monthly counter resets (because it’s a new month) and it reconciles everything on the back end.
Around the 7th of each month, payouts begin and we may receive payments. The payout period can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. Again, giant banner on the website shows the status and you can always check it yourself via Ads Payout Status Update
So to reiterate, we receive payment for ads we saw in December here in January, starting around January 7. And as the big banner shows, which I’ll screenshot below, payments are pending. January payment is for December earnings, February for January’s earnings, and so forth.,
