My bookmarks sidebar has become slow

**Description of the issue:**When I go into my Bookmarks sidebar and click on a folder, now, as not in previous use, it takes some minutes for the folder to open

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3. Open bookarks sidebar. Click on a folder.

**Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!): opens after minutes -most recently 20 seconds

Expected result: opens instantly or at least in seconds

**Reproduces how often:**every time

**Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu): Windows 10 Pro https://brave.com/latest/
version 1.73.104 Chromium

Can you please update to the latest version of the browser (v1.73.105) and tell me if the issue persists after doing so?

@AEDunne do you have a particularly large amount of bookmarks saved?

More, possibly many more, than 5 000. I do not know how to get an exact count.

But as best as I remember the problem began quite suddenly, and I can still move quickly through menu -lists and bookmarks -bookmarks manager in and out of folders.
