MXRP not working (Second try)

Description of the issue: MXRP won’t form a connection to a chatroom-- I get an error when going into chatrooms that says “Sorry, the connection to the server has been lost”

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (yes/no) Yes

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off? No

Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no): No, Shields doesn’t change anything

This is the second time I’m posting this; a spam filter hid my last one, and I was told a mod would check it, but it’s been a little while since then… so my apologies for the double posting, I guess?

EDIT: A screenshot of what exactly happens; I can’t type anything and the chatroom itself doesn’t open.

Trying to reproduce this issue, I created login and join an exisiting room, and also created a new room. (no issues so far)

Can you clear the cookies for mxrp and re-login again to test?

Okay, I tried that (as well as clearing the cache), and it didn’t work. BUT reinstalling the browser did work, and I’m not sure why
