Moving BAT To Outside Browser

Description of the issue:
There is not a clear, apparent, or well-documented way for me (a user) to transfer BAT from Brave Browser to a desktop wallet.

**Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

  1. Brave lists BATs in the Brave Browser but there is not a way to transfer out. Present # of BAT can be viewed in Brave Rewards.
  2. There is not a second step.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
There is no result since I have not found out how to transfer from BAT from Brave Browser to a desktop wallet.

Expected result:
Clear documentation or well-defined procedure about how to easily transfer BAT from Brave Browser to a desktop wallet.

Reproduces how often:
Doesn’t.

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
I am using latest macOS and Brave Version 0.64.77 Chromium: 74.0.3729.169 (Official Build) (64-bit).

Additional Information:
I believe this can be done somehow with a private key but I don’t see that anywhere in Brave or how to even obtain it in Brave.

@Poincare the in-browser wallet is currently unidirectional. 2-ways wallet is in the plan. https://brave.com/faq#refund-money

When you try to add funds, there’s also a notice that said the current wallet is unidirectional.

Thanks
:grinning:

Good question!

Any idea on when the transfer of rewards will become available? (again, asking not as a publisher)

Thanks!!

Sooo…, just so my simple mind understands, unidirectional means BATs should be able to continue/forward somewhere else, no? As in the direction continues to another wallet.

And, I am not a publisher, just an end-user of the Brave Browser.
