Mouse alignment in brave window suddenly skewed vertically

Description of the issue:
After a recent brave update on Debian 10.10 the click behavior is vertically misaligned
with the point on the screen that the mouse cursor appears.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Run the new version of brave in Enlightenment on debian 10.10 in a virt-manager VM

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Mouse cursor does not show up in snapshots but clicking in navbar actually clicks bookmarks. the same is true for web pages .
Clicking on the “hambrrgrr” elicits a click on “other bookmarks”
Clicking on a line elicits behavior as if i clicked a line or two below.
No other app on this vm has this issue.

Expected result:
I expect the click to be on the thing that the mouse cursor is actually over not below it.

Reproduces how often:
As soon as I open a oage in a brave profile in this particular VM.
The problem does NOT happen in the host debian - just in virt-manager

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

Version 1.30.87 Chromium: 94.0.4606.71 (Official Build) (64-bit)
PRETTY_NAME=“Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)”
Linux **** 4.19.0-17-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.194-3 (2021-07-18) x86_64 GNU/Linux

Additional Information:

This only happens in a virt-manager qemu/KVM VM

I installed the brave-browser beta
Version 1.31.67 Chromium: 94.0.4606.61 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)

The browser did not have the mis-alignment.
Even when I synced the profile to the one I had the most problems with - even after the sync, the alignment was as expected.
When I clicked the thing under the mouse cursor was activated,
So the problem only appeared so far in the stable relsease.
I might sync the other profiles and see if the problem appears but so far its ok in brave-broswer-beta

Thanks
