More info on "virus detected" in canceled download?

Description of the issue: I’ve noticed in my download history that a download is cancelled with the note “virus detected.” See image.

My question is:

  1. Does Brave detect the virus, or is windows detecting it and Brave merely sees that information.
  2. Is there a log where I can see more info. I’d like to review what was detected so I can determine if it is a false positive.

How can this issue be reproduced?

Brave relies on Windows Defender or your installed antivirus software to detect viruses. To review more details about the detection, check the logs in the Windows Security app under “Virus & threat protection” → “Threat history.”
