Hello @moonshinefuckoff, thank you for bringing this to our attention. What kind of device and OS are you using? Have you updated to the most recent version? Have you checked the shields are they still ON. If so, try setting them in aggressive mode > under shields > advanced controls > block trackers and ads > aggressively block trackers and ads
If you still are seeing ads you can enable these shields Fanboy Annoyances List and uBlock Annoyances List to block most ads and trackers on the web. To select them click on this link brave://settings/shields/filters/ then on the filters list, search and check on the boxes corresponding and let us know if that helps. Regards.
@moonshinefuckoff What you’re seeing is Brave Rewards ads that you likely have enabled. It sounds like what you’re seeing are the Sponsored Images, which also tend to pay more BAT than normal Push Notifications. You’re limited to seeing them a maximum of once every 15 minutes. So to say you’re getting spammed is a bit of an exaggeration.
If you don’t wish to see Sponsored Images, you’ll need to go to your New Tab Page, click on Customize, go to Background Image area, and then scroll to the bottom where you’ll see a toggle for Show Sponsored Images. At that point, you’ll no longer see any.
If you wish to see Sponsored Images but just dislike moonshinelabs, then you can go to brave://rewards (settings → Brave Rewards) and then click on 30-day Ads History. You can then hit the 
button and it should stop displaying that ad for you (or at least show it less frequently).
