@NovaDeLuca I’m debating on how to phrase things. While going to make this reply longer, let me tackle some things you say one by one by quoting you and then responding.
Wouldn’t be disconnected. Brave would keep logged in on the back end. If your browser showed you disconnected, that’s just on your side where you couldn’t see your balance and couldn’t tip people. But you would have had the Connect
button to be able to login again and have your balance and all shown.
No. You get paid each month. As long as your profile had been linked to Uphold and you were indeed earning, then the BAT would have already gone to Uphold. No balance is ever kept or saved directly in your browser and there would be no “backpayment.”
That said, if you submit a ticket and they had seen there was a glitch, they can sometimes get payments pushed through. But that’s only if it showed you earning and that payment didn’t go through, but that’s unlikely. It’s more likely payment went through to you or, if no payment arrived, that your account is flagged (another word to mean suspended)
No you didn’t. Absolutely no need for this at all. I’m kind of confused why you say this?
If you uninstalled then it would have erased your Rewards profile. There would be no profile to “reset.” So I’m a bit confused on this.
If you were linked to Uphold and you reset the Rewards, it still would pay out for whatever ads you had viewed prior to the reset. This would pay out in the normal payout period.
As to saying “saves your Rewards,” I’m not sure what you’re referencing. Any payments you would have received is in your Uphold account. Resetting your Rewards, uninstalling Brave, etc would have absolutely no impact on the BAT in your Uphold account. So they do say that won’t be lost.
Well, because you have done things like resetting your Rewards profile, it makes thing a bit tougher. Generally you need to create a Rewards Support Ticket at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001302431 so someone from Brave can look into your account. This would have you provide your Rewards Payment ID. But when you uninstalled Brave and/or reset your Rewards profile, you would have lost access to this information.
They still likely can look things up so long as you provide the relevant email address to your Uphold account, but you will also want to be very clear in the support ticket that the Rewards Payment ID you have now is not the one you are referencing and ask them to look at what you had prior.
Again, as you are saying payments have not arrived in prior months, it sounds like your account is flagged (suspended). If that’s true, you have earned nothing since the time it was flagged. They would need to review your account and determine if they will remove the flag and reinstate your account. If they do reinstate it, you would get whatever last payment was owed when it had flagged. Any months after, you get nothing.
If they choose not to reinstate your account, then it means you get nothing and you will basically be banned from earning forever. Flagged accounts occur on a custodial level, meaning it would be associated with your Uphold account and the Rewards profile(s) you had. Even if you reset Rewards, get a new device, or anything else you would never receive payments again.
Anyway, that’s a long story just to say you will need to create that support ticket so they can look into things. Only then can someone from Brave look into things and get you some answers.
