Mojave 10.14.1- PDF downloads

Thanks a bunch for this fast and lightweight browser.
It runs like a charm for me in Windows 10, 10.12 Sierra and 10.13 High Sierra.
Sadly in 10.14 something is broken, very likely due to a change in Apple´s security policies.

Description of the issue:
Downloads from banking servers fail.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Go to e.g. Barclaycard and try to download the last monthly invoice.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Red line error, picture still needs to be added.

Expected result:
Receiving the PDF invoice.

Reproduces how often:
Every kind of banking server offering pdf documents.

Brave Version(0.25.2):

Reproducible on current live release (yes/no):
No idea what that is.

Additional Information:

@Aron, thanks for the kind words!

Can I see a screenshot of the error you’re seeing? We’ve had several issues like this that were all very similar in nature but not the same.

Sure, I was not running Mojave when posting.
Here it is. It the same with “all” similar pdf documents from different servers.
Lets hope I did the picture uploading right.

Can you tell me what the “more information” says as well? Thanks!

Sorry, forgot that:

PDF.js v2.0.673 (build: 31012570)
Message: Failed to fetch

Afaik JS is depreciated in macOS since 10.12 or so.
Some other apps relying on JS (Adobe CS5) stopped working too.

Yeah, looks like we’re still working on that one

Apologies for the inconvenience. You can try downloading and installing a pdf viewer extension

True. The pdf issue had seemed to be resolved however up to macOS 10.12 or 10.13.
In 10.14 its back again. :frowning:
Could be the Apple fan boys will stick with Safari in general, so there may be little feedback from 10.14 Mojave (or higher).

Thanks for looking into this “bug” again.
As written above, its Apple introducing such features all the time.
One needs more and more tinkering to install unsigned apps, gain root access etc. running macOS.
I´m lucky as I may always drop back to Windows - still like the look and feel of macOS better though.

Keep up your good work, its much appreciated!
