Mobile downloads

Hello fellas,

I’ve got a question regarding mobile downloads. I’m trying to promote Brave Browser among my websites and I was wondering how do count mobile downloads? As I know, users are redirected to App Store or Google Play, so how do you know an user was reffered by that specific website? Do you pass any IDs to the Stores, so after the installation is completed the user is assigned to specific publisher?
