Mobile disconnected?

I just realized my phone is “disconnected” from brave rewards. This was not an issue earlier today and I certainly did not disconnect it. It has been connected for months without issue. I’m concerned that reconnecting it will use another device slot which apparently we can only have four of with no way to remove old devices. Considering I’m going to be installing windows 11 in a few months I’m concerned this will use another slot, leaving me with just the one for windows 11. In the future in the event I replace my phone or reinstall windows again I’ll be screwed. Does anyone know if this will indeed use another device slot or are also facing this issue?
I use uphold and my device passes the safety check and all that.
