Mobile and desktop wallets are not synchronized

Hi,
I recently began using Brave on my PC and mobile (Android), and synced them. I created and verified an Uphold account. I noticed that whilst my Brave desktop wallet showed as being verified, my mobile did not, so I dropped 27 BAT into the wallet thinking this would resolve the issue on my mobile, but it hasn’t. I still get a popup on my mobile that I need a minimum of 25 BAT to verify or even access settings. (I’ll provide two screenshots if it lets me.)

I see support last addressed this issue in April '20 and that they were working on it… is it still being worked on? Or has it been resolved, but I’ve failed to find the proper thread/ solution? I appreciate any advice or even a re-direct, thank you!
