Missing content in the Brave Shield

The content in Brave Shield is blank (missing).

Description of the issue:
As shown in the attached screenshot, the label and options in the brave shield are empty. This problem happens on two of ArchLinux systems I have, but it display correctly on a Windows system.
Probably due to font missing.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

  1. open the brave
  2. go to a http or https website, e.g. https://community.brave.com/
  3. click the brave shield icon
  4. the shield menu should pop up, the label and options in select input are displayed blank as shown in the screenshot.

Expected result:
The label of the options and the option of the select inputs should have corresponding text.

Reproduces how often:
Everytime on the ArchLinux system, but never on the Windows system.
